Ivory scrollwork curls along the dupatta of this deep navy set.
- Scrollwork borders rather than the usual floral band - a larger, more architectural motif.
- Colour-fast, so the ivory holds its brightness against the navy after washing.
- Opaque silk that stitches without a lining, at 600-650 g for all three pieces.
The print
Two scales work together here. The top carries a small, dense sprig repeat in ivory on navy, while the dupatta switches to wide vertical bands of scrollwork and circular motifs along its edge - a much larger drawing that gives the set its character.
Wearing it
Navy with ivory is the most office-ready combination in this range, and the scrollwork dupatta lifts it straight into evening wear when needed. Wear the dupatta with the scrolled edge facing out over the shoulder. Katan silk carrying genuine hand block work from Bhagalpur is a rare pairing - this craft is nearly always sold on cotton. Block printed by hand, and still dispatched the next working day.

On a large scroll block the ink never lands perfectly evenly, so some curls read fuller than others. That is hand printing, doing what it does.
