Off-White Cotton Kota Doria Saree, Jaal | Naazneen
An off-white in a white-on-off-white jaal.
Direct from master artisan Haq Nawaz, Kota — white jaal from his unit.
A white-on-off-white floral jaal covers a soft off-white Kota Doria cotton.
Why this piece
Light and semi-sheer — the open cotton weave stays cool and near-weightless; wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse for full cover.
Tone-on-tone white jaal — a medium floral repeats all over in white on off-white, with a solid border — texture, not colour.
Dressed up or every day — dressed up for festivals, light enough to wear all day.
The pattern
A medium floral repeats as an all-over jaal in white on the soft off-white body, with a thin solid border band. Tone-on-tone, so it reads as quiet texture that works for a festival or a working day.
The fabric
Kota Doria is a cotton khat weave of tiny square checks you can see against the light. It is semi-sheer by nature, which keeps it light for festivals and all-day wear.

Is this Kota Doria all cotton?
Yes — cotton in the open khat (square-check) weave. That open weave is what keeps this off-white piece light, semi-sheer and breathable.
What colour is the embroidery?
It is tone-on-tone — a medium floral jaal worked in white across the off-white body, so the detail is texture rather than a contrasting colour.
How sheer is it, and how should I pair it?
It is semi-sheer, as cotton Kota Doria is. Wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse; a white or nude petticoat keeps the ground even.
Does it come with a blouse piece, and how do I wash it?
Yes, a plain running blouse piece in the same Kota Doria is included, which you can get tailored to size. Handwash gently in cold water and dry in shade; the embroidery holds best with gentle care.
