Peach and deep blue, set against each other piece by piece.
- A contrast pairing: a peach-orange top bordered in dark blue, with a dark blue dupatta to match the border.
- Colour-fast, so a deep blue sitting next to peach does not bleed on the first wash.
- 2.5 metres on every piece, enough for a straight kurta set stitched up to 4XL.
The contrast
A warm peach-orange top is edged in dark blue and answered by a dark blue dupatta, both carrying a repeating circular geometric motif picked out in gold and yellow. Vertical bands run down the dupatta and keep the two colours in conversation rather than in competition.
Styling
This is the set to wear when you want to be seen: festive daytime, a formal lunch, or an office day that ends somewhere else. Gold jewellery suits the yellow in the motif, and asking your tailor to carry the blue border onto the sleeve ends ties the whole outfit together.
The details
Top: 2.5 metres, 44 to 45 inches wide
Bottom: 2.5 metres, 44 to 45 inches wide
Dupatta: 2.5 metres, 35 to 36 inches wide
Weight: 600 to 650 g for the top, bottom and dupatta together
Stitching: up to 4XL for a straight kurta set, with the length customisable for larger sizes
Lining: optional, as the fabric is opaque and needs none
Care: dry clean the first wash, then a gentle cold hand wash
Craft: hand block printed in Bhagalpur with hand-carved wooden blocks
Dispatch: printed by hand, and still dispatched the next working day
Because every impression is stamped by hand, small shifts in the print are part of the piece, not a fault in it.
