Why This Piece

Elegant Paithani Silk body adorned with small, scattered golden zari butis.
Elaborate pallu showcases traditional peacock and floral vine motifs in intricate golden zari.
Clean and simple finishing allows the detailed pallu to remain the centre of attention.
Neatly stitched pallu hem without tassels, fringes or additional embellishments.
Contrast blouse piece adds versatility to the traditional Paithani look.

The Colourway
The understated body allows the luminous golden zari to stand out beautifully across the saree. The delicate butis provide a refined rhythm across the drape, while the richly woven pallu introduces greater depth and visual richness through its traditional motifs.

The Craft: Handloom Weaving
Woven by Saurav Gambhir in Yeola, Maharashtra, Mihira reflects the enduring artistry of Paithani handloom weaving. The saree brings together a refined silk base and intricate zari motifs, with the peacock and floral vine composition on the pallu adding a distinctly traditional expression to the weave.

The Design & Drape
The body maintains a graceful simplicity with small golden zari butis scattered across the surface. As the saree moves towards the pallu, the design becomes more elaborate, revealing traditional peacock and climbing floral vine motifs worked in golden zari. Unlike embellished pallu edges, Mihira is finished with a clean, neatly stitched hem, giving the saree a polished appearance and allowing the woven craftsmanship to speak for itself.
